For the first time in Reverie's 30-year history, we are excited to unveil our 3-bottle Cabernet Franc Vertical, showcasing the 2020, 2021, and 2022 vintages. These exceptional wines hail from Kenefick Ranch Vineyard, where the northeastern slopes of Napa Valley and unique volcanic soils create an unrivaled terroir for Cabernet Franc. The vineyard’s distinctive microclimate further elevates these vintages, delivering bold yet refined flavors.

2020 Cabernet Franc - Expressive aromas of red plums, juicy black raspberries, espresso, baking chocolate, dried violets, and crushed gravel highlight the warm and rocky terrain of Calistoga’s eastern edge, while a plush texture full of summer strawberries, blackberries, graham cracker, and wet stone rounds out the palate. The expansive and lengthy finish is framed by minerally tannins that have become the calling card of this site.

2021 Cabernet Franc - Dense aromas of black plums, black raspberries, chocolate-covered espresso beans, wet minerals, truffles, and purple flowers lead into an unctuous mouthful of juicy blackberries, ripe raspberries, crushed gravel, strawberries, and cream. Formidable tannins reinforce the pedigree of this single vineyard, drenching the senses in exquisite fruit and powerful structure, all leading to a lengthy, mineral-laced finish that lingers on the palate for what seems like an eternity.

2022 Cabernet Franc - Heady aromas of black plums, currant, dark cherries, espresso, dried violets, underbrush, crushed graphite, and toffee effortlessly evolve in the glass. A rich palate of dried strawberries, blackberry pie, slate, milk chocolate, and graham cracker is framed by smooth and opulent mineral-rich tannins that finish with precision and focus.
