TASTING NOTES -
Grown on the rocky slopes of our Atlas Peak Estate, this wine has served as the flagship of our portfolio since the very beginning. An inviting nose of wild boysenberries, mulberries, crushed gravel, savory herbs, truffles, and sandalwood leads into a restrained yet powerful palate brimming with dark spiced berries, crushed minerals, and hints of vanilla. Additional notes of leather and cedar show themselves on the long and elegant finish, all framed by refreshingly plush tannins and a mineral-laced acidity that lingers for an eternity. This Cabernet Sauvignon embodies everything we aim to create in a terroir-driven mountain wine from Napa Valley’s southeastern-facing slopes.
