2020 Tempranillo

TASTING NOTES -

Grown in the southern edge of the Sierra Foothills’ prehistoric volcanic dirt, this Tempranillo basks in the sun-drenched landscape of this arid climate, evolving into fruit of exceptional character and personality. Dense and vibrant notes of dark cherries, Mission figs, pipe tobacco, dried strawberries, and black plums transition effortlessly into a layered palate rich in wild red cherries, leather, chalk, underbrush, and sweet cranberries. The finish is bold and smooth, softened by a lovely interplay of garnet-infused acidity and fruit-forward tannins.
