2020 Cabernet Franc

TASTING NOTES -

Grown in the Kenefick Ranch that sits in the morning shadows of the Vaca Mountains, this is a pure expression of Cabernet Franc from one of Napa Valley’s most fabled vineyards. Expressive aromas of red plums, juicy black raspberries, espresso, baking chocolate, dried violets, and crushed gravel highlight the warm and rocky terrain of Calistoga’s eastern edge, while a plush texture full of summer strawberries, blackberries, graham cracker, and wet stone rounds out the palate. The expansive and lengthy finish is framed by minerally tannins that have become the calling card of this site.
