Reviews of 2010-Current Vintages

Reverie’s 2010 Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Outstanding – Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar: “Good red-ruby. Ripe, nuanced nose offers scents of blackberry, coffee, licorice, and pepper, plus a whiff of dark fruit syrup. Not a fat style, but nicely smooth, with firm acidity giving shape and lift to the dense flavors of crushed berries and wild herbs……finishing with softer tannins and a more harmonious herbal element.”

Outstandiong – Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar: “Good, bright red-ruby…. Surprisingly expressive in the mouth, with currant and licorice fruit complicated by claret-like herbs.”

Reverie’s 2010 Roussanne

Outstanding - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar: “Aromas of orange blossom, yellow plum, lichee, honey and licorice. The palate offers an almost glyceral sweetness but this dry, fruit-driven wine has less than a gram per liter of residual sugar. Finishes with a waxy, almost semillon-like quality and a light touch.”

PLEASE NOTE: Reverie chooses to emphasize the narrative remarks from selected wine reviewers rather than emphasizing numerical scores. Reviewers use the term “Outstanding” for wines with a numerical score of 90 or above (from a 100 point scale). Not all reviewers have tasted every wine or every vintage of Reverie’s wines.
